Winter, spring, summer, fall, Newport is a great place to visit and to live. A great way to spend a winter afternoon and capture moments with family and friends is ice skating and hot toddy’s hosted by Gurney’s Resort in Newport.
Grab a hot cider, cozy up to one of the many fire pits and take in the afternoon sun with epic views of Narragansett Bay, two lighthouses and the Newport bridge. When you are ready to warm up you can retire to one of several heated “igloos” for a blanket wrapped bite or head inside to the whisky bar and sample one of the best selections in town.
