Have you ever been out on the town, or at an event, when your favorite song comes on and you just…freeze? Maybe you look longingly at the dance floor and wish you had the confidence to go out there and get down to good music without anyone judging you for how you move. This 6 week series of dance classes are designed to help the average person feel confident on the dance floor – wherever that may be! We’ll discover how much our bodies already know and how to apply that knowledge in an intentional way to move rhythmically to music, while also learning specific tools and skills that help our bodies move in new ways. Best of all, we will have FUN.
Your teacher, Olivia Burnham, has a Masters in Dance Anthropology and has spent her life teaching self-proclaimed “non-dancers” how to access joy through movement. She currently works with couples on their wedding dances, and is now bringing that same ethos to the masses. Come to these classes as you are, and leave with a feeling of infinite potential!

100% of admission proceeds will be donated to TeamFAME, a chapter of the International Tennis Hall of Fame that provides Newport area middle school students with access to tennis, academic support and personal enrichment programs ranging from nutrition education to STEM activities.
The SAFARI ROOM AT OCEANCLIFF will be open during and after the event for dinner or a sunset cocktail on the lawn!
Friday Night and the lights are low, looking out for a place to go..the ABBA ca DABRA Ball, Presented by BD, a midsummer’s eve celebration on Friday, August 4th, 2023 invites you to fete international guests of honor, the Swedish Polo Team in one of Newport’s most illustrious Gilded Age mansions, Marble House, for a celebration of summer like only Norsemen do – where summers are shortest, with all night to celebrate!
