Poulenc Trio presented by Newport Classical

Continuing its commitment to ongoing year-round programming, on February 18 Newport Classical presents the Poulenc Trio – the most active touring piano-wind chamber ensemble in the world – in music for the classically curious by Poulenc, Andre Previn, Juri Seo, James Lee III, and Octavio Vasquez.

The Poulenc Trio has rediscovered and redefined piano-wind chamber music for the 21st century. Having been called “virtuosos of classical and contemporary chamber music,” the Trio is committed to commissioning, performing, and recording new works from contemporary composers. Since its founding in 2003, the Trio has performed in 45 U.S. states and at music festivals around the world.
