Our Founder

Farmaesthetics founder and formulator, Brenda Brock, is the daughter of a 7th generation farming family from Texas. A noted trailblazer in “green” beauty, Ms. Brock successfully translated her traditional herbal recipes from “kitchen chemistry” to modern small-batch cosmetic manufacturing, resulting in pristine herbal products that retain their 100% natural status yet compare in effectiveness with leading dermatological brands. She was named to TIME MAGAZINE’s “Green Style & Design 100: The People & Ideas Behind Today’s Most Influential Green Design” in beauty and named by Luxury Spafinder as “The Purist” and one of the “Five Entrepreneurs at the Forefront of the Natural Beauty Revolution”.

 

Our Start

Brenda first made her handmade herbal skincare preparations available to customers in the summer of 1999 at an organic farmstand in rural Rhode Island. Using the recipes gleaned from her own farming family heritage, Brenda created a full line of truly natural skincare that she called “Sustainable Beauty”. Today her full line of 100% natural luxury skincare products are offered in the finest spas and retailers in the world.
